A random person on social media posting about how much they love their mom or dad is not responsible for how your mom or dad treated you. The comment section on their posts is not your personal trauma dumping ground. I’m sorry all that happened to you but talk to a professional

So fucking true, I remember posting a "i love you mom" type of card on facebook and not even half an hour has passed someone decided to "bless" us with their personal info about their bad childhood pertaining their parents.

Now it became a clusterfuck of people sharing their own bad relationships with their moms to the point my mom felt bad enough to make me delete the post.

Now, i feel bad that some people dont get to have the same childhood as mine, just as i feel disgusted that some mothers are horrible to their child.

But if you post that under a post of someone appreciating their mom it's pretty obv you want clout attention, feel free to go to therapy, feel free to let all your troubles out with your friends i really don't care, but come on, a post saying "ily" to my mom is not a space for your own problems to get dumped to, only for me to feel bad on mothers day.
