Opinion on Lahores? What about birhinham and parlor tumblers?

,Lahore pigeons are a Color and Structure exhibition breed named after the city in Pakistan where they were developed.

Lahore are a big, feisty breed. More of both of those things than most people tend to expect them to be!

They are much more likely to bond through combativeness than cuddling, so avoid these if you were looking for a cuddle bug.

Even more than other pigeons, the Lahore will fight God over what they consider their nest space!

They are excellent parents and foster parents if the egg or peep you give them is a good size.

Their defensiveness of their nest can make them set too tight on eggs and crush them, though, so only bother an individual on a nest that you have a comfortable enough relationship not to scare.

Only the American variant of this breed has muffs this painfully extravagant.

Pakistani Lahore only have grouse muffs, and most other counties that imported them kept the original standard.

Birmingham Rollers are a generally small, high energy performance breed.

Size and structure can vary from bloodline to bloodline, as these are strictly selected for performance.

Birmingham Rollers perform in small flying groups called Kits, from which they roll in tandem, with the ideal average being around 20 revolutions per roll.

Rolling is not a seizure, contrary to popular belief.

The behavior is an excited stim, supported in the roller breeds by an especially flexible tail.

They have full control of when to begin a roll, and only struggle to straighten if the tail is too loose and cannot be leveled.

Birmingham Rollers, because of being bred towards an inclination for a happy/excited stim, are high energy, generally very exuberant bird.

Human-social individuals are very affectionate, but tend not to like to hold still for long.

This is more a bird that will frequently appear on hour head, shoulder, arm, or knee, preen you, see what you are doing, and then zoom off to go explore or immediately instigate a play fight or chase game than a cuddle bug that will just let you pet it for hours.

They are a lot of fun, and one of the fittest breeds with an excellent immune system.

Their generally tiny stature makes them very easy to comfortably house.

Who ever took that and made the Parlor Tumbler, who can’t even get off the ground, is a fucking monster.

The following video is competitive animal abuse.

You have been warned.

This is not s seizure.

This bird is bred specifically for musculoskeletal deformities that make maintaining its balance impossible until its wings stop moving.

Unbalanced pigeons instinctively flap to right themselves.

But the Parlor Roller’s wing set causes each flap to pull its head back and tail up and force it backwards on a gust of air.

Each attempt to right itself only throws it more off balance, sending the bird into a flailing panic, the length of which is judged.

Those of you who can stomach it, watch this bird until the run ends.

Several times the official timing the bird warns that there are hawks circling and instructs the bird’s owner to keep close to it, but they alternately back away, skip, or stamp to keep it rolling when ever it tries to seek shelter in their shadow.

The second exhaustion prevents it from flapping any more, it pops back upright.

This breed is not remotely ethical.
