The reason why I make so many posts about kudos is because after a while, creators can sometimes lose sight of what that button meant to them before they started posting.
If seeing a like or a kudos makes you think someone disliked your work, why is that? Because last I knew, a heart was a fairly universal symbol of love, not hate.
It isn't the case that, "if they really liked it, they'd comment." For lots of people, commenting isn't a thing they do. Or it's something they do when they have time or mental spoons, or they're reading on a device that's convenient for commenting.
Kudos means they liked it. Maybe they liked it a little and maybe they liked it a lot, but either way it made them want to say, "I was here. I saw your creation. Thank you."
Just because it's easy to click doesn't mean it's unimportant.
